It was a time when we were going toward the city center, so I rarely got to be around the sea.
Blue waters swayed like they were dancing, and the sunlight caught them in sparkling ripples.
The adults said they were going to grill meat, so they went ahead to the lodging first, and the kids said they were going to play games on their phones at the lodging, so they left first too.
So I was walking along the seaside path alone when
I heard singing
I don't know how old they were.
Their voice was kind of low
and nice to listen to.
I wondered if it was busking,
and somehow it keptmaking me feel strangely like my consciousness was cutting out..
What was it. I was getting kind of mesmerized by the song..
Glug glug.
When I opened my eyes, I was underwater.
I had sunk into the blue deep sea, and
my vision had gone blurry.
A little later, when I opened my eyes, I was on the sandy beach.
My family and friends scolded me, asking why on earth I had walked into the sea all by myself.
..I had just followed the song and gone in
..what was that.
