“Huh… gasp…”

Yoongi and Siyeon held each other's hands tightly and ran until the man was out of sight, until the man could no longer find them, until they were too exhausted to move anymore. It was Siyeon who suggested they take a break first because she was tired. She had always been grounded, couldn't leave the house, and couldn't exercise or eat properly, so her stamina was much lower than Yoongi's. She was panting and suggested they take a rest in the park they saw before them. Yoongi nodded readily, seeing Siyeon struggling so much.

Even though it was quite late, people were strolling through the park, either with their partners or with their pets. Avoiding the few people around, Yoongi and Siyeon sat on a bench in front of the lake. The two of them were hot from running so much, sweat dripping down their bodies. Yoongi roughly wiped the sweat off his hands and handed Siyeon his handkerchief. “I always carry one with me just in case,” he added, “It’s a good thing I brought one.” Siyeon declined, saying it was fine, but that her handkerchief would get stained with his sweat.

“Just use a handkerchief, sis. Please return it to me next time we meet.”

“Give it back to me next time we meet.” Yoongi naturally handed Siyeon a handkerchief, promising to meet again next time. Siyeon took Yoongi’s handkerchief and stared at the ground for a long time. She didn’t even use the handkerchief. It seemed as if she was repeating Yoongi’s words. “Give it back to me next time we meet.” As soon as she realized that Yoongi meant they would meet again next time, Siyeon just held the handkerchief tightly and couldn’t use it. The family affair she most wanted to keep hidden had been discovered, and Yoongi might be put in danger because of her. Can they really promise to meet again next time? These thoughts complicated Siyeon’s mind.

The night breeze blew coldly. The sweat hadn't yet cooled, making her body chill. Siyeon, who had been dragged out of the house earlier and was wearing only short sleeves, felt the cold much more than Yoongi, who was wearing a dress shirt. However, Siyeon had been kicked out of the house in short sleeves even in winter, a punishment she'd often endured, so she was accustomed to the cold. So why was Siyeon shivering slightly? Was it the situation that had become familiar to her, or was it the pain of the cold that had tormented her?

As soon as Yoon-ki noticed Si-yeon shivering slightly, he took off his cardigan and put it on her.

“Oh, it’s okay. You must be cold, so put on some clothes. Yoongi.”

“I’m fine because I’m wearing a white shirt. But you’re wearing short sleeves.”

“It’s really okay……”

“It’s cool during the day, but the night wind is still cold, Sister. So, put this on.”

“Yeah… thank you…”

Siyeon's eyes remained fixed on the ground. No matter how much Yoongi tried to meet her gaze, she refused to meet his. She was embarrassed that her family history had been revealed, didn't know how to say it, felt awkward, and somehow scared. As Siyeon continued to stare at the ground, Yoongi spoke softly and sweetly.

“Sister, please look at me.”

Only then did Siyeon slowly begin to meet Yoongi's gaze. When their gazes finally met, Siyeon opened her mouth with difficulty.

“You said you liked me before. Do you still like me?”

“Of course. Why would my mind change?”

“Even after seeing that, you still like me?”

“What does that look like? I just like you as you are.”

Siyeon smiled faintly at Yoongi's words. It was the first time she had smiled naturally since she was very young. And in front of someone else. As soon as Yoongi saw Siyeon's smile, his mood brightened along with his own. "It's the first time I've seen my older sister smile," Yoongi said excitedly. Siyeon replied nonchalantly, "Really?" and gently grabbed Yoongi's hand. Yoongi was surprised by Siyeon's sudden physical contact, but he couldn't hide his joy.

“Sister, can I assume that this is you accepting my confession?”

“No. Don’t get me wrong. I’m sure you think so.”

“Wow, really… I love you.”

"……me too."

Time flowed sweetly for the two. Siyeon's time, which had been painful just moments ago, and Siyeon's time, which had seemed frozen, began to flow smoothly, and sweetly at that. As he savored this sweet moment, Yoongi's mind flashed back to what had just happened.

“Oh, right, about that earlier, Sister...”

  “…”

“Excuse me, Sister. If it’s okay with you, would you like to stay at my house? My house is quite spacious with lots of rooms…”

“What…? Is that okay…?”

“Yes, of course. We are lovers now.”

“…Yeah, that’s right.”

Siyeon lowered her head in embarrassment, her cheeks flushed as she answered. Yoongi couldn't help but smile at how cute and endearing Siyeon looked.

“Sister, please look at me for a moment.”

At Yoongi's words, Siyeon lifted her head, which had been hanging in embarrassment. Then Yoongi grabbed Siyeon's chin and brought his face closer to hers.

“…Can I kiss you?”

"huh."

Siyeon closed her eyes gently. Yoongi covered Siyeon's lips with his own. Then, a sweetness spread through Siyeon's mouth. Was a kiss really this sweet? At that moment, Siyeon felt the wound on her dry lips begin to heal.

Sister, please look at me_finally.
