Surviving as an extra
Subtitle: I was in a traffic accident
-
I am a 26-year-old, extremely ordinary Korean office worker who is returning home after spending the same day as yesterday.
When I was young, I only saw office life in dramas, with a great department atmosphere and friendly team members. But when I experienced it in real life, I realized that dramas are just dramas. Real life is rotten and corrupted by bullying and criticism.
For me, exhausted from this tedious life, the only happiness is novels. I wonder if you'd understand if I said "small but certain happiness," as kids these days call it. It's supposed to mean small but certain happiness.
I was heading home after working overtime as usual. I was feeling particularly tired today, and all I wanted was to get home quickly and rest. I hurried along the familiar path and crossed the crosswalk.
Ppaaang-
I was in a car accident.
I lost consciousness as the sounds of people calling me and the loud blare of the ambulance around me gradually faded away.
