Sweeter than candy

P/V of BABY:

I found something among my things; it was a pillow with a beautiful photograph of the boys on one side and an unexpected one of Suga on the other.

photo

I asked him how he managed to get it and he said the boys helped him, then I asked him about the other side of the pillow and he seemed confused about what I meant by the other side...

"I'm going to burn them alive, they're dead," he said while dialing Namjoonie's number. He threatened to shave their eyebrows while they slept and other insults... I laughed like crazy... it was so funny to see him so frustrated with his friends' prank, it's a good edit at least.

I could hear the laughter on the other end while he was on the phone with the leader, who was trying to take it in stride. He definitely doesn't like those kinds of jokes much, but it feels great to receive a little something like that. When he finally finished his call, I told him to think of a way to get back at them so they wouldn't do it again, but not to shave any part of their bodies.

He made peace with the image; it wasn't so bad, really. He looked fine, but the nice intentions he wanted to show me... were somewhat ruined. But I really liked my pillow, so I was glad he let her know. His doctor wanted to know how he would be doing his checkups because they were removing the bandages today so his skin could continue to heal despite the stitches.
We called PD to find out how they had planned their trip to Daegu. We will travel there as soon as possible, so the doctor will contact the clinic to ensure he can oversee their recovery.

The last two members will help us leave the hospital and go to their new home to pack their things for the trip. We spend time packing everything and getting ready to leave.
I helped Yoongi put on his shirt and made sure he had learned how to put his sling on himself.
I'm sending a message to the guys to hurry because he didn't want any more hospital food.

Somehow they managed to arrive on time. The nurse brought the documents and treatment for Suga when she saw the other boys talking to Suga about who would bring this or that and how she would prefer to have them nearby instead of going all the way to Daegu.

J-Hope had asked his sister to buy me some outfits, since they knew I hadn't brought many clothes and most of my luggage was work equipment. At that moment, the lawyer I'd asked to handle my case called me, so I went to the window to talk, and since we spoke in Spanish, I didn't mind giving him orders, as is my wont.

As she suspected, she couldn't regain her position in the competition, but the woman will face problems for using work that doesn't belong to her and for having no right to display it. I tried not to stare at the nurse as Suga nearly slapped her when she tried to adjust his clothes because the sling had ridden up while he sat on the bed. I was saying the last words before ending my call when he called me by name; he wanted me to call him.

I didn't say anything, I put my phone down on the bed and turned him over, placing my hands on his hips. I counted from one to three and slid my hands under his arms to quickly straighten his clothes, while he made a little room for me to get my hands in. Then I pulled a little at the back and that was it. We had practiced different methods, but this technique was the most comfortable for him when it came to straightening his clothes.

Taehyung was making faces, and Jungkook was trying not to laugh because I did what the nurse was dying to do. We went downstairs when everyone was distracted with the patients' food and managed to get to the car without any trouble.

We arrived at the restaurant where we would eat with a reservation and all the members would be there to spend some time together before taking the high-speed train. The journey will be an hour and a half. Of course, the security team insisted on this route because no one will recognize him with the sling and because he wasn't wearing his usual expensive jewelry or designer clothes.

I was excited to travel around the country and see how beautiful this land was. The food was delicious, and most of the guys ended up crying because it was impossible to fill the void left by their friend for next month's activities. We had a video call with his family to let them know we were arriving; his mother, as always, was grateful for us taking care of her son. Yoongi made us laugh because his mother was scolding and teasing him, while for me it was all smiles and kind words.

We arrived at our destination, and Yoongi's brother was a bit of a nuisance because of the amount of luggage I had. Almost all of it was mine, but I still don't have a place to live. The days are shorter, and I had been marveling at the views of the night lights and the city skyline while we waited for the end of the train journey.

I didn't want to have bad memories of this opportunity to see the place; he almost ruined it with his words, even when the bodyguard encouraged me with a few pats on the shoulder and I smiled at him, but I doubt he noticed with his mask on.

The guard got into the front passenger seat, Suga and I sat in the back. I was almost on top of Suga to help with the car's seatbelt before going all the way around to sit on the other side, the side the idol can't use. The sling is quite large so Yoongi could only choose a place where the seatbelt doesn't hurt him.

The streets were empty as they drove us to her parents' house; I couldn't help but look out the window to appreciate the businesses and the style of the buildings as we passed.
I heard Suga make a sound with his tongue, so I looked at him. His good hand was in his lap, clutching his clothes in a fist. I put my hand on his leg and asked if he was comfortable. He told me to sit closer so I wouldn't feel the car's movement so much. Without thinking twice, I unbuckled my seatbelt and used the middle seat and the lap belt that only held my hips.

He wanted more space between his shoulder and the seat, so I put my arm behind him, trying to hold him to the vehicle, but it was uncomfortable because he said my arm was too tense. Suga told me to hug him instead. I held him at his armpit, and he placed my other hand where he wanted it.

Feeling his heart pounding made me realize how close we were. The security guard had seen us before at the hospital, so he wasn't paying any attention, although his brother must have been watching us in the rearview mirror, while the idol stared out the window. I tried to focus on something else, mostly the street in front of me, because the driver was going faster and less smoothly than before, to the point that I screamed a couple of times. The street might have been empty of pedestrians, but the road was more congested, with trucks, buses, taxis, and other vehicles moving alongside us.

We finally arrived at our destination, and I was trembling so much that Yoongi could feel it. He used his long fingers to calm me, playing with them in the hand that was still on top of him. I unbuckled our seatbelts and waited for him to get out so I could slide into the seats and exit through the same side he used to leave the car.
I only took the backpack I had in the hospital with me, and the guard kept the car keys to move our luggage when Suga decides whether we stay with his family or rent a nearby apartment, maybe a long-stay hotel.

The apartment was just the right size for the number of people living there. It was cozy and I felt welcome, at least by most of his family members who asked a lot of questions about his stay in the hospital. We told them about the good things and the nurses' love for him, and they found our stories entertaining as we had drinks before dinner.
I wanted to help, but they wouldn't let me do anything today, so I asked about the restroom. Her father told me I could leave my things in her room so I'd have more freedom to eat dinner. Her room was dark because they always close all the curtains tightly when she's here so she can walk around the house freely.

He closed the door while I put my things on a chair and grabbed my phone charger because I didn't want it to die and for no one to be able to contact me. I was going to ask him what he was doing when he pulled at my face mask; I had to bring my face closer and he took the opportunity to kiss me.
I was surprised, but I reciprocated as soon as my body was able to move again.

He smiled before covering my face properly. I could only see his mouth biting his lower lip before he told me which was the bathroom door and went back to his family. I wasn't wearing makeup today, just a little tinted moisturizer so I wouldn't look so tired, so I washed my face thoroughly. My skin felt a little tight from using hand soap, but I'll definitely use some product before bed.

They were talking about where to sleep because this time it wasn't just the security one, even though the company has a place prepared on this street, and Suga didn't like his brother's offer to let me stay with him and have him bring me every day. I stood up and used my phone as an excuse to stay still in the hallway without doing anything.
Suga said that if I wanted to share his room with him, he would find a place for the three of us and visit every two days. When he told them he wanted to share his room with me, I walked in, stopping the argument.

"I'll look for a long-term hotel, Suga... you should realize what you're asking of your family. I don't need security to come and go every day since no one knows me, and as long as they don't suspect anything, besides, I don't have to come every day. When your scars heal, and I'll see you at therapy... I can ask for a double room, so in case of emergency you'll have another place to hide. If I talk to them, you won't need to identify yourself until you have to stay there overnight," I said, but he insisted that at least tonight I stay and use the sofa while security finds me a place, as they see fit.

His agent called him and he went to his room to talk privately. I apologized for his demands, but he knows I don't do inappropriate things with him, because even though he needed a lot of help, especially while we were in the hospital, so many days with nothing to do, not even look out the window...
I made them understand that he was more like a prisoner and that he probably notices it less when he shares it with someone who has earned his trust, in this situation, especially with the nurses who tried to touch him more than necessary while doing their job.
His brother was on his phone saying nothing, his father has the same personality as Suga, he asked all kinds of things directly to the point of embarrassing his wife with his hostile treatment.

I don't think so, so I'm answering each and every thing she wanted to know about us.
"Has our son taken liberties with you?" his father asked.

"I don't know what you mean by taking liberties," I tried to say in my simple vocabulary. "I need to study more."

"Did he tell you he likes you as a woman?" his mother asked, embarrassed but listening attentively.

"He has, but not with the intention of having any special interest in me," I said honestly.

"Really?" she asked, sounding surprised and asking how it happened.

- I work for the company as an artist. Before my contract was completed, we shared spaces to work. I was chosen as a model for a bridal clothing store that was reserved for their image team to select outfits for the coming months... the owner liked my look and Suga took the opportunity to take some photos with his phone... I guess it's nice to see girls in wedding dresses - I said.

"You mean you showed BTS wedding dresses? Dressed in them?" her mother asks, and I nod; I was excited about it.

"So you're a model with the agency," her brother said.

No, I started as a choreographer and backup dancer. For two weeks they evaluated my skills, and I had the opportunity to be used as a dancer for another agency in a music video and as a model. The photographer from that shoot asked the company to send my references for a telenovela he was going to be in. Other circumstances led the agency to offer me different options, and I'm currently an apprentice. If they manage to make me sing well in a year, I'd be an idol, and if I'm not good at singing, well, I'd just be another artist who does any job that doesn't involve singing with talent—I'm trying to be clear.

- Oh... I never thought the agency had girls around when they're so good with the boy groups - said his mother.

"There are many women working at the agency, it's just that there aren't any female idols being managed by the team that created PD. Because of the virus and the building change, she got stuck here with me, and I can't work in this situation either. Baby... I need to do a V live, could you help me prepare it? We can have dinner afterward." I got up and followed Suga after his intervention to help set everything up.

He used my computer because it has good quality and connected a wireless microphone for better sound. We checked that there was nothing in sight that would give information about where he really was or where he might be. Suga would only say that he is at home recovering.

I left him to his own devices while I went back to his family, who were almost ready for dinner, putting everything out. Everything smelled divine, and they told me about the dishes, their names, and things like that.
His mother chose my seat at the table after asking where Yoongi would feel most comfortable eating. He returned with his enormous glass of decaf coffee with milk.

The food was delicious, and his mother gave us plenty because we were eating so well after being in the hospital. Yoongi was frustrated with eating with his other hand, so I suggested he use a spoon and ask us to serve him on his plate. I loved all the spicy vegetables, and he even asked me to give him what I was about to eat.

"Ahhh, give me that!" she demanded.

"What a crybaby... Is the day going to come when you won't eat the good things I have?" I said without thinking.

"No, your food is my food," she said, making faces that made it difficult for her brother to eat his own food.

"Damn it, eat more meat! You eat too many vegetables!" he protested.

- Vegetables are delicious and good for your health, don't you boast about not being a picky eater? - he tried to convince me that I had never said such a thing and I took out my phone to show him an interview, showing everyone the proof.

Dinner was lively as they shared stories about meals in the Min family. The boys tried to keep the older ones from telling me about their embarrassing moments, attempting to justify their childish behavior. At some point, Suga peacefully fell asleep. His brother and the guard were no longer there, so his mother would let him sleep there, but it would hurt her later if they did.

I patted his knee to get his attention and convince him to get ready for bed like a little boy. I helped him up and straightened his bed while I went to the bathroom. He came to his room and I helped him undress. He didn't want to wear pajamas today, but I insisted he put the sling on by himself. I pulled his pants down and sat him down so I could take them off, and his socks too.

I applied her night cream and tucked her in as soon as she settled down. She tried to convince me to stay, but I ignored her and got ready to sleep on her sofa with the pillow and blankets her mother had brought for me. She hugged me before going to sleep with her husband, who was waiting for her in their room.
