God's protection didn't last long. With the human world in ruins and even the legions of angels falling into corruption, most angels were forced to step down from their positions. Even Yeonjun, the only one holding the position of Michael, faced challenges. He nearly lost a cherished comrade, and the humans who had believed in him and prayed to him no longer existed. What could God possibly do on this Earth? Heaven, once called Father, couldn't even bestow blessings on the defunct human world.

Sujin, the only human who held the position of saint, let out a short sigh as she gazed upon the desolate, seething human world. The demons had won the war, and unlike the demons celebrating, the angels, now in a melancholic mood, merely touched a pitiful cross and bit their lips. God's blessings were happiness, and without them, misery. Even the words they had always engraved in their hearts no longer offered comfort to the angels. Even Yeonjun, who had seemed so strong, was gradually losing his strength. Why did the humans turn their backs on such angels?

God could no longer lead the angels. The angels' morale was waning, and the shrine of God was slowly crumbling, creating a time and space of misery. How could the angels continue to exert themselves here? With a long sigh, Soojin offered a final prayer and prepared to leave. Meeting the angels, alone after losing her mother, was a source of happiness for Soojin. But if no more happiness came, then the end would soon be misery.

"What are you doing?"

Yeonjun came to Soojin's room as she was packing. She had been happy enough to become a saint, but now she knew there was no point in praying for this land where life no longer existed. Soojin forced a smile, silently packed her bags, and looked up at Yeonjun. The golden cross that had once shone brightly around Soojin's neck was her only reminder of prayer. Now, with even that languishing, what more was there to pray for?

"I was happy enough just being a saint in human form. This war was definitely at our disadvantage, and if even you, Michael, couldn't catch the demons whose morale had grown, then that must mean they had grown in strength."

"....."

Yeonjun, who had been silent at Soojin's words, forced a smile and nodded. Many angels had been injured in this war, and while they listened to his prayers, the demons had steadily increased their morale. Yeonjun knew this, too. The angels, who had finished packing and gathering their crosses, had walked to the shrine of God. Now, they would have to put everything aside and wait for the day they could live in a better place.

Upon arriving at the shrine, the angels were greeted by their father, their father. The father, who believed the lack of divine protection stemmed from his own lack of virtue, rejected their father's words. Instead, they smiled, saying it was thanks to their father that this place had survived. One by one, they laid down their weapons and relinquished their angelic status. The tears they had been holding back flowed. The angels' tears rained down upon the human world, and the once blazing fires began to subside. Leaving behind the torrential downpour, Subin, the first to formally step down from her angelic position, and Subin, who had performed many good deeds, descended through the gate that bounded Juseon and returned to her normal human form to begin her next life.

Soobin followed, followed by Yeonjun, Taehyun, Beomgyu, and then Huening and Kai, who opened the door that stood precariously on the border of the main line, and Soobin followed. The saintess Soojin officially relinquished her title and assumed the role of spiritual guide, standing between the boundaries of sin and goodness. Thus, the gate that stood between sin and goodness disappeared beneath the feet of the god.

Hello, this is Dilemma. All the stories from episode 1 to the last episode, episode 12, have been concluded, but I'm not sure if the stories were as good as I thought. I feel like the ending was too short to capture the entire world of this evil creature in writing... haha

Since I started fanfics, many of you have supported me, but since I've finally put an end to one work, I'll be a bit more relaxed with the next one. Thank you so much for reading so far. I'll be bringing the new one around mid-November. :D
