"··· Hmm···."

"······."
The wind was blowing and the white curtains were moving gently. Because of this, sunlight streamed through the curtains, and when I woke up from the glare, I saw Yoon Gi, whiter than the curtains themselves, lying next to me with his chin resting on his hand.
"Aaaah!" Startled by the unexpected situation, I screamed and fell out of bed. But seeing that Yoon Gi didn't seem to have any intention of helping me up, I felt even more embarrassed and quickly got to my feet. How am I still here? Does that mean I slept with him last night? I really don't remember anything.
"Why is your face red?"
While I was trying to understand the situation, Yoon Gi asked me why my face was red. But didn't you know better than I did? It's not hard to guess, because my last memory from last night is of Yoon Gi's lustful and malicious words. So, did I really...I'll spend the night with him? With a man I just met?

There were too many doubts, and that's why Yoon Gi seemed even more annoying to me. I don't know if he knew it or not, but he got up and left the room, saying that since we had been drinking last night, we should have some broth to ease our hangovers. His calm demeanor left me speechless.
My clothes were the same as yesterday. Nothing was different, so my suspicion began to lessen a little, but I still couldn't feel at ease. I decided to follow Yoon Gi to the kitchen. He gestured for me to sit down, and I settled into a rather high chair.
Soon the delicious smell of food began to waft through the air. Setting my utensils aside, I sat there waiting. The situation felt so awkward that I decided instead of making a silly joke, it would be better to ask what was really bothering me.
"But... nothing happened between us last night, right?"

"It was intense."
"Huh?"
"Yes, both of them were. Especially you, you seemed very active."
Yoon Gi's words stunned me. Really? Seriously? My beautiful first time was taken by this guy?
With that final blow, I collapsed, powerless, onto the table. Ignoring my state, Yoon Gi placed a bowl of broth filled with "seonji" (blood soup) in front of me and then sat down in his chair. I reluctantly drank the broth. Thinking about it, it seems the hangover from the drink made me forget what happened... even though, in my mind, nothing had actually occurred. But this guy... he was so "intense"... I feel so unfair, but I can't protest! I just want to lose my mind!

"It's just a joke, why do you look so serious? I already promised you I wouldn't do anything to you."
"But you said you would..."
"Forget it, you didn't hear it."
I kept asking him if anything had happened, and he, in an annoyed tone, said that nothing had happened, we just slept. Why did you keep asking if you wanted everything to be resolved with that?
Somehow, I felt much better. I'd already sorted out what was worrying me most, so I decided to eat first. Maybe it was because I'd drunk too much last night, but my stomach still felt queasy. I really should stop drinking so much...
After we finished eating, Yoon Gi tossed me some clothes and seemed to be telling me I should shower because I hadn't done it yesterday. I went into the bathroom and showered quickly, but when I came out, my hair was still wet, dripping with water. Seeing that, Yoon Gi somehow turned red.
He offered to dry my hair, but I politely declined. However, his eyes were so intense that I quickly sat down in a chair in front of the mirror, closing my mouth to avoid saying anything. Since the sound of the hairdryer wasn't too loud, I decided to ask him something curious.
"Why is there so much 'seonji' in the house?"
In response, Yoon Gi joked that there were over 10 kg of "seonji" in the refrigerator, which made me think he knew how to joke around too. However, that didn't seem like a very good joke to me... he didn't seem to be very good at jokes.

Soon, my hair was completely dry, and I stood up. Suddenly, Yoon Gi showed me the inside of the refrigerator, took out a bag of "seonji," and shook it. Was he serious about what he'd said? Looking more closely, I saw that there was a lot of "seonji" and almost nothing else. Did he really live on blood alone? When I asked him if that was all he ate, he replied that he did.
"Oh, don't make jokes."
"It's not a joke. I'm serious, I live on blood."
"It's not funny, you're not good at making jokes."

"This is not a joke. Believe me, what I said is true."
"What? When did you arrive?"
While I was talking to Yoon Gi, a man suddenly appeared and confirmed that what Yoon Gi had said was true. I didn't know where he came from, but somehow, the whole thing seemed odd to me. Well, not just odd... strange.
When I merely blinked, the man removed his leather gloves and said, "My name is Jeon Jungkook. I am the building manager of this building and Min Yoon Gi's manager."

"I thought you hadn't noticed, so I'll tell you. Min Yoon Gi is a vampire, a real vampire."
"I told you not to call me a vampire, it makes me look like a monster."
"I knew it would take you a while to believe it, so take your time to get used to it."
I didn't quite understand what he was saying, but something inside me told me yes, maybe it was true. His skin was so pale it looked like porcelain, and last night, running so fast... And then there was that strange aura about Yoon Gi... But a vampire? That sounded more like something out of a movie.
"I don't believe it... How is it possible that he's a vampire?"

"Think about this. In Korea, where else is there a place like this? From the very beginning, this already makes no sense."
"······"
"And the reason Kim Yeo Ju is here is to become Min Yoon Gi's wife. Unfortunately, from now on, you will live here. It's your destiny, so please accept it as quickly as possible."
I should have noticed it then. These guys were completely crazy.
