Episode 13: If It Didn't Disappear

The road to Taehyung's destination felt like a breath of fresh air. It was because he was leaving the bustling city and driving on the highway, with a refreshing beach right next to him.

"Wow... it's the sea"

김태형

"Do you like the sea?"

한여주

"I don't know..."

Having lived my life confined to a fixed framework, I've never truly felt like I had anything truly mine. I've never been able to pursue my hobbies or interests, so I don't even know what I enjoy.

김태형

"Are you feeling good now, Miss Yeoju?"

한여주

"Yes, I love it"

김태형

"If it makes you feel that good, then you like it."

한여주

"I guess I hate closed spaces, so I like the wide open sea."

한여주

"But is it still far to go?"

김태형

"We're almost there now."

"Taehyung said that he had arrived shortly after, having parked his car near the beach. I got out of the car without saying anything, lightly grabbed his sleeve, and followed Taehyung's lead.

The place we arrived at was a small restaurant by the sea.

"Oh my, son...!! What happened without even contacting me...!"

Son...? Taehyung's mother...??

김태형

"I came here because I wanted to eat the food my mom made."

지혜선

"But who is this person...? Is this your girlfriend?"

김태형

"Oh, Mom. He's my friend."

한여주

"Hello. My name is Han Yeo-ju. Nice to meet you."

지혜선

"Oh, nice to meet you. You're so pretty and handsome. I guess you're close with Taehyung."

한여주

"Oh, yes" ((smile

지혜선

"Oh my, come on, I'm out of my mind. I've been rambling on about making guests sit down. Sit down. I'll make you something delicious."

"Is there anything you can't eat?"

한여주

"No, I'm eating everything well."

지혜선

"Then just wait a moment."

The mother, excited by her son's first-ever friend, hummed a tune as she entered the kitchen.

한여주

"Is this Taehyung's home?"

김태형

"Yes. You must be surprised to suddenly bring me home. There are many places that serve delicious food, but my mother's cooking is truly delicious."

김태형

"I really wanted to bring Yeoju here because it's by the sea, so I feel at ease, and my mother's cooking is delicious."

한여주

"Thank you for bringing me here. I love it so much" ((smile
