Lucid Dream 003. Meeting Again

And so, the two awoke from a dream that felt both regretful and not regretful, and drifted back into their daily lives, completely forgetting the sweet dream they'd had the night before. Perhaps, since they knew it would be their first and last encounter, they thought it was okay to forget and move on.

They were so exhausted from their busy daily lives that they were about to go back to sleep when the dream came back to them. But no one had any desire to dream it again. As always (or as yesterday), God did not reflect their thoughts.

Yes, God gave them another chance, granting them a lucid dream like yesterday. A charming landscape. And beyond that, a modern city. It was just like yesterday. The heroine/Daniel standing before each of them was also present.

This time, it was Daniel who spoke first. He reached out as if to shake hands. The heroine took Daniel's hand tightly, and a faint smile spread across Daniel's face, which had been cold the night before. Even though it was a dream, perhaps because of his mood, his hand felt warm.

For several nights, they spent time in the same dream, becoming as close as they could. One night, they met in a dream, talked about their day, and then returned to reality, hurrying on their way.

[Daniel's POV] Ah, I know I shouldn't do this, but the face I saw for a moment resembled the heroine in my dream... the heroine. So I just passed by without looking. The person I thought was the main character in my dream, she was also a lucid dreamer like me.

She wasn't just a heroine, she was a real person...
