Daddy Long Legs

Behind the Scenes and Reviews of Mr. Long Legs

Hello. I am author Ji Jin-jeong.

This is the first work I started serializing in fan fiction....

Early November last year... I started studying so hard I went crazy...

ㅋㅋㅋ Still, since it's my first time writing, I put a lot of thought into it. What do you think, readers...?

Well then... I'm going to introduce some behind-the-scenes stories from now on.

The first is about the content composition..?

This article is largely composed of an epilogue and the main text.

The main story can be divided into two parts: the story set in Korea and the story set in France.

In the story set in France, the story of Yoon-i and Jimin takes up a lot of space.

Actually, I have a separate original story that I wrote before.

When adapting it into a fan fiction, the settings of the male and female protagonists

It was divided based on criminality.

So, the female protagonist, who is a writer, and Yoon, who is a killer,

Seok-jin, a prosecutor investigator, and Jimin, a killer training center trainer.

It was divided like this.

The novel's meaning, the process of finding memories, and the warehouse setting are all the same as the original. Haha.

Since Yoon-i and Jimin are also the main characters, they had quite a bit of weight to them.

Of course, I shortened the episode with Taehyung because I thought it would put too much emphasis on Jimin, but I still have some regrets about just writing it...

As we divided the main characters, the themes changed a lot from love to friendship, care, and solidarity.

When I first read the novel "Daddy Long Legs," I really didn't like the idea of marrying a sponsor... haha

So I'm very satisfied with how I adapted it to this topic.

Hehehe

Second is France!

Actually, I only know French words like "jouem" and "bonjour" lol

But first of all, some of the photos used in the French background were actual French photos.

The actual French Supreme Court

The boulevards of Paris

A walk down a street leading to a delicious restaurant in Paris

Olive farms in the Côte d'Azur*

(In the text it is called Costa Azur, but Cote d'Azur is said to be closer to the original pronunciation)

Other photos include country house views, prison photos, etc...

So, you, including me, read the text and saw the French scenery together.

France has a lot of streetlights in warm colors... While writing this, I really wanted to take a walk through the streets of France at night.

(Photo source: French Tourism Office, news, etc.)

The reason I chose France was because it is where Interpol headquarters is located, it has a court image, and it is the official language of several African countries.

It was such an unfamiliar country... I definitely have to go there someday..+_+

Anyway, you traveled to France with me!! Hahaha

This work contains my thoughts on children who have left foster care, the media, criminal rehabilitation counseling, and international adoption.

As I wrote, I realized my lack of ability, but if my writing skills improve in the future... I think I would like to write again.

Then, an interview with the author

Which character are you most attached to?

Of course, Seokjin and Jimin..!

Since I already divided the settings, I wanted to draw them as polar opposites!

What is your most memorable scene?

Chapter 3 (1) - Chapter 3 (3) The scene where the heroine searches for her memories

Chapter 6 (4)-(5) Seokjin and Jimin's first close combat

If you look closely, it's a meeting between the two main characters... ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Which character is the most disappointing?

Clinical psychologist Min Yoongi...

Thinking about my professional ethics, I feel like I didn't portray the character well.

I was thinking of writing a short story titled "Today, a Peaceful Psychological Room"...

After it ends, I'll bring it up as a side story someday.

Secondly, Taehyung.. (another Tae named Victor..)

Taehyung's story was omitted while shortening Jimin's story, but as I was writing the epilogue, which is like the second part, I realized that it was a necessary part, so I proceeded with it as a what-if.

I wanted to write about the identity of internationally adopted children.

I guess my bowl is still small.

As I was writing, I ended up covering all sorts of short knowledge.

I think I studied a lot too!

Okay, now I will end my first work like this.

Compared to other fanfics, each piece is so long that I was a little worried that it might be hard to read ㅜㅠ

But I wrote it stubbornly for the sake of immersion and progression... lol

I will end this here, as I will not exceed 2000 characters for the behind-the-scenes story.

I am so grateful to the readers who stayed with me until the end....:)

Then see you in another work!

Bye bye~
