Fall in Love with Sunghoon
As it happens(?)

10:55 AM
Before he knew it, Shine had spent all his break time in the library.

Her neck ached from constantly looking down while reading. She tilted her head back and stretched her neck muscles.

The sound of bones cracking echoed through the library, making Shine a little embarrassed at being the center of attention.

He turned his head, his ears slightly irritated by the loud whispers.

Because he was seriously reading a book, Shine didn't realize that beside him was Park Sunghoon, the school's dream basketball captain.

When he looked at Sunghoon, Sunghoon looked back at Shine. Their eyes met, making Shine's cheeks flush.

Shine felt awkward. He smiled awkwardly at Sunghoon, who was still staring at him.

Her cheeks grew even redder. She didn't want them to turn into crabs. She quickly walked out of the library and headed for class.

12:00 AM
Kim Riri
"What are you taking home later?"

Choi Shine
"You're already thinking about going home before school's even finished. Seriously."

Kim Riri
"Yes, let's make preparations. Who knows, maybe no one will pick you up. You can come with me later."

Choi Shine
"No. Just say you want to be escorted to the mall. I don't want to."

Choi Shine
"I still have a book to finish today. So I want to read it at the library first."

Kim Riri
"Can you free your mind from the book? You're the one reading, I'm the one bored."

Choi Shine
"Why do you even want to cheat? Come on, don't complain."

Kim Riri
"Oh, okay."

The teacher entered the classroom quietly. This time, Mr. Jino would be in charge of the class.

Pak Jino
"Today, in my free time, I'll be filling it with exercise. Please change into your workout clothes. Did you bring everything?"

Para Murid
"Bring it, sir!"

Pak Jino
"Good. Please change."

Kim Riri
"Let's go!" said Riri.

Shine looked confused. He had forgotten that he had taken his gym uniform home to be washed.

Kim Riri
"Kenapa, Shine?"

Choi Shine
"My sports uniform, I took home," said Shine surrendered.

Kim Riri
"So what? Do you want to borrow it from another class first?"

Choi Shine
"No. I'll go to the library. I'll give Mr. Jino permission later."

Kim Riri
"Always at the library. How could you miss a golden opportunity to see Sunghoon again?"

Kim Riri
"Today's class is also gym class, you know."

Choi Shine
"Alright. I already told you I'm not interested in seeing Kak Sunghoon. You guys hurry up and get changed. I'll wait. We'll go down together."

Kim Riri
"Okay. Wait for me."

Riri walked towards the changing room leaving Shine alone in the classroom.

Shine read the textbook lying on his desk.

Five minutes passed in silence. Only the ticking of the clock filled the room.

Shine started to feel uncomfortable when he felt someone staring at him.

Shine looked to the right and left. Making sure who was looking at him.

But he didn't find anyone in the classroom.

As he turned to the window, he found Sunghoon who happened to be passing by.

Sunghoon turned around too. And unexpectedly, he smiled.

But Shine didn't see it clearly. Of course, he missed a golden opportunity to get a smile from Sunghoon.

Not wanting to stare at Sunghoon any further, Shine returned to focusing on his book.

But who can resist Sunghoon's charm?

When Shine turned around again, Sunghoon was no longer there.

Choi Shine
"Gue halu kali ya?" monologue Shine.

Shine patted her cheek gently, regaining her focus, which had been lost due to Sunghoon, who might have just been Shine's shadow.

Not long after, Riri came and asked him to get off.

They went down to the field. Mr. Jino was there. Shine asked Mr. Jino for permission because he didn't have his sports uniform.

Choi Shine
"Sorry, sir. My sports uniform is at home. I forgot to bring it. Can I not join sports?"

Pak Jino
"Yes. But you can't go to the library. You're here."

Choi Shine
"Why, sir? I'll be bored, what will happen later?"

Pak Jino
"You want to argue, Shine? This is the lesson I'm teaching. You have to follow what I say."

Choi Shine
"Okay sir."

Shine sat on the bleachers surrounding the field. He was truly bored.

He hoped someone would bring him a book from the library.

Kim Tae
"Nih.

Shine turned to Tae. Tae handed him a book that Shine usually reads in the library.

Choi Shine
"What is this?"

Kim Tae
"Iced tea."

Shine clicked his tongue.

Kim Tae
"Does this look like a camel to you?"

Choi Shine
"You can do it. How did you know I like this book?"

Kim Tae
"I just took it."

Tae sat beside Shine.

Choi Shine
"Why are you here? You're in class."

Kim Tae
"I got permission to go to the bathroom. Then I saw you sitting down. So I brought a book from the library."

Choi Shine
"Your reason is illogical. But that's okay. Thanks for the book. Go back. The teacher will look for you later."

Kim Tae
"Ntar ah. Bored in class. I'm fed up."

Shine didn't respond. He was already engrossed in his book.

Kim Tae
"Shine, do you know if anyone likes you?"

Shine didn't answer. He was too engrossed in his book.

Kim Tae
"Shine? Can you hear me? Are you deaf?"

Shine remained silent. He didn't give any response.

Kim Tae
"Shine?"

Still not responding, Tae took the book Shine was reading.

Choi Shine
"What's wrong with you, Tae? Why?"

Kim Tae
"Did you hear what I said?"

Kim Tae
"Listen. Here's my answer. I don't care if anyone likes me. I mean, why do you like me who likes to read books?"

Choi Shine
"Why do you like me when I only work in the library?"

Kim Tae
"Your mind is shallow, isn't it, Shine?"

Choi Shine
"In fact, you're mocking me. You're not clear. Go back to class."

Kim Tae
"Ah your answer is not fun. Come on. I want to go to class first."

Kim Tae
"Don't forget to care about those around you. There are people who like you."

Choi Shine
"He's chatty. Here's his book.
