Clue Failed to Find

As Shine expected, the library was packed with female students obsessed with Sunghoon.

Shine came here just to borrow another book. Just for a moment. Because she couldn't stand the crowded atmosphere.

Kim Riri

"Hey, you said you didn't want to come here?"

Shine turned towards the source of the voice.

Choi Shine

"I borrowed a book for a while. It's too crowded, I said."

Kim Riri

"I think you're crazy about the girl."

Shine didn't respond.

"Y-well. I'll go back first."

Shine walked quickly back to class.

In contrast to the atmosphere in the library, the atmosphere in the field tends to be quiet.

His steps started to slow down because it was quiet.

Suddenly, Tae approached him.

"Why?"

Shine looked up to see Tae's face.

Tae shook his head slowly.

"Do you still have power?"

"The Nemen River."

Shine was confused.

Choi Shine

"Accompany me? Why?"

Tae pointed at someone with his chin.

Shine turned to show Tae's chin earlier.

It turned out that Sunghoon was standing across the field. Sunghoon was staring at the two of them.

Choi Shine

"He's been there all this time?"

Shine was still staring at Sunghoon.

Kim Tae

"What do you think?"

Shine was silent for a moment.

Choi Shine

"But it's all a big deal because of him, isn't it? Why is he so relaxed?"

Kim Tae

"How would I know? You should ask him.

Shine chuckled softly.

Choi Shine

"I want to go back to class. Your class is over there."

Kim Tae

"I'm going to your class."

Choi Shine

"No need. I'll be in soon."

Kim Tae

"What's next, idiot? There's still half an hour."

He is a rascal.

Choi Shine

"Go ahead and go back. Or have lunch first. You haven't eaten yet, have you?"

Tae gasped.

Kim Tae

"Do you want to ask someone to help you?"

Choi Shine

"No. I ate yesterday."

Tae lingered in front of Shine for a moment, then headed to the cafeteria.

Shine walked slowly into his classroom. It was very quiet.

There were only two male friends in her class who were chatting casually.

Shine turned slowly and then shook his head.

"You are indeed the rarest."

Shine smiled awkwardly. He quickly sat down in his seat.

The two students were still chatting. It sounded a little noisy to Shine's ears. However, Shine tried to ignore it and began reading his book.

A few minutes passed. The two students suddenly fell silent.

Shine was reluctant to check what was happening. Instead, he was grateful that the class had returned to normal.

Suddenly a voice was heard beside Shine.

Sunghoon

"Have eaten?"

Shine knew that voice. He tried not to turn around for fear someone might see him.

Moreover, there are two male friends in her class.

Shine was silent with his hands shaking as he flipped through his book.

Sunghoon

"Have you eaten?"

Sunghoon asked again.

Shine was getting more and more desperate. Unconsciously, he shook his head slowly.

Even though he had already eaten earlier.

Sunghoon placed a bottle of strawberry milk on Shine's table.

Shine remained silent. He still didn't look at Sunghoon.

Choi Shine

"T-thank you," Shine said very quietly.

Sunghoon smiled lopsidedly.

"Are you really afraid of me?"

Shine swallowed hard. What should he say?

She wasn't afraid of Sunghoon. She was just afraid that people would criticize her for being close to him.

Kim Tae

"Shine!" Tae shouted from the classroom door.

Shine immediately looked up. The class was still quiet. The two men were not in his class.

Kim Tae

"Come with me." Without permission or a word, Tae pulled Shine's hand.

Asked him out of the classroom.

Sunghoon was getting more and more annoyed. Time and time again, Tae kept coming.

Sunghoon stood up, looked for paper and a pen. He wrote something on it and placed it under the strawberry milk.

Sunghoon slowly walked out of Shine's classroom. Luckily, the hallway was empty.

Kim Tae

"Kak Sunghoon, are you okay?"

Choi Shine

"What do you think? You saw it yourself, right? I'm surprised."

Tae was silent. He studied Shine's slightly panicked face.

Kim Tae

"Calm down first. I'll take you back to class later."

Choi Shine

"No need. Just go back now."

Tae was a little unsure. But eventually, the two of them walked back to Shine's class.

When they were on the field, suddenly many female students headed towards the canteen.

Shine was a little scared because he thought that the students already knew about the girl who was close to Sunghoon.

But that was wrong. The female students walked right past the two of them.

Tae held Shine's hand so that Shine wouldn't collide and be pushed.

Tae directed Shine's small body behind his body.

Kim Riri

"Shine!"

Riri shouted calling Shine who was actually already in front of her.

Kim Tae

"Lower your voice, you idiot. You're like a toa, you know?"

Shine shifted his body so he could see his friend clearly.

"How? Found the girl?"

Riri, who was previously cheerful, became annoyed and lethargic.

Kim Riri

"There are no clues. Sunghoon isn't in the library either."

Kim Tae

"That many students didn't find a single clue?"

Tae clicked his tongue mockingly.

Kim Riri

"Shut up! Come on, Shine, let's go home. Just leave this circus clown alone."

Shine chuckled in amusement. Tae frowned.

Riri pulled Shine's hand excitedly to head to class.

Shine remembered the strawberry milk from Sunghoon that he left in class.

What if Riri sees it? What should she say?
