The school bell rang, signaling the students to enter their classrooms to begin their lessons. Choi Shine was no exception.
She entered with her friend, Kim Riri.
Kim Riri
"Do you know? Brother Sunghoon? He's so handsome today, he's not strong."
Choi Shine
"I haven't seen him yet. But I'm not interested in seeing him," Shine replied disinterestedly.
Kim Riri
"You're crazy. It was crowded downstairs just now because of the road while putting your hands in your pants pockets. I thought it was a student demonstration."
Choi Shine
"Oh, was that because of Kak Sunghoon? Because it was crowded, I just passed by."
Kim Riri
"You missed a golden opportunity to see Sunghoon. You're really out of your mind."
Shine just chuckled softly as he opened his book.
Choi Shine
"Have you studied?"
Riri opened her powder puff. She patted her face gently to add some of the slightly faded powder.
Kim Riri
"What are you doing? I think you need to relax a little, Shine. Study first, you think."
Choi Shine
"Hey! Today's a language test, crazy. Did you really not study?"
Riri's eyes widened. She had forgotten about the language test that was due to take place today.
Kim Riri
"I forgot, wow! I'll catch up later, okay?"
Choi Shine
"You're bothering people so much, Ri. I'm angry."
Kim Riri
"You're good. Help me, okay? I'll treat you later."
Choi Shine
"Okay, okay."
The teacher came in and gave the test as planned.
10:00 AM
After an hour of testing, they finally went out to go to the canteen.
"It was so hard. I was dizzy."
Choi Shine
"Did you really think that? My feelings gave me the answer."
Kim Riri
"Don't tear it apart, you idiot. That's it. I'm really hungry. What do you want to order? I'll pay for it."
Choi Shine
"Just like usual."
Kim Riri
"Okay, wait. You just sit down."
Riri walked happily towards the stand in the canteen.
Shine walked slowly towards an empty table. Then he chose to sit in a chair facing the window.
The canteen was quite crowded, making Shine a little uncomfortable.
Kim Tae
"Alone?"
Choi Shine
"No. Your twin is ordering." Shine pointed at Riri with his hand.
Kim Tae
"Shall I sit here?"
Choi Shine
"Just sit down."
Tae—Riri's twin—sat across from Shine. He placed his tray of food on the table.
Choi Shine
"Since when do you like milk?" Shine was confused because he knew Tae didn't like milk.
Kim Tae
"This is for you. You really like milk."
Choi Shine
"But I already ordered it from Riri."
Kim Tae
"Okay, drink it all," Tae replied while eating his food.
Choi Shine
"What if I get fatter later?"
Kim Tae
"More cute. I like it," Tae said very slowly.
Choi Shine
"Huh? What are you saying? You didn't hear me."
Tae shook his head slowly. Soon, Riri joined them.
Kim Riri
"What are you doing here?"
Kim Tae
"It's up to me. Does this canteen belong to your grandmother?"
Kim Riri
"My grandmother, your grandmother too, stupid."
Riri sat next to Shine.
They ate quietly until Riri started talking again.
Kim Riri
"Tae. You're in the basketball club too. Introduce yourself to Sunghoon."
Kim Tae
"No way. You'll end up flirting with him."
Kim Riri
"That's fine! No. Introduce him, okay? You're close to him, right?"
Kim Tae
"I don't want to. How much are you willing to pay?"
Kim Riri
"You're a money-grubber."
Kim Tae
"FYI. Sunghoon already has a girlfriend."
Riri, who was drinking, immediately spat her drink at Tae.
Kim Tae
"You're so dirty, you idiot!"
Kim Riri
"Crush?! Who?!"
Tae was still busy cleaning up the holy water spray from Riri earlier.
Kim Riri
"Answer, Tae!"
Kim Tae
"I don't know, you idiot! No one knows. He just said he had a crush. That's it!"
Kim Riri
"You're lying! You must know."
Kim Tae
"Why don't you ask yourself? You're just bothering people. It's dirty. It's over. I want to go back to class."
Tae walked away. He didn't forget to tidy up his tray.
Riri turned to Shine who had been silent all along.
Choi Shine
"What?" Shine asked fiercely.
Kim Riri
"Do you trust Tae?"
Choi Shine
"I don't know. Even if it's true, that's fine. Sunghoon is also human. He must like someone too."
Kim Riri
"But who is Sunghoon's crush? She must be really pretty. What class is she in?"
Choi Shine
"I don't know. I want to go back. Have you gone yet?"
Kim Riri
"You go first. I want to investigate this first."
Choi Shine
"Okay. I'll go first."
Shine walked away. He headed to the library to look for a study reference book.
