“Kang Taehyun, you’re breaking into the security site I sent you, and Choi Yeonjun, you’re watching for anyone who doesn’t come.”

“Um... what should I do?”

유여주

"Huh? Ah..."

I’d completely forgotten. Choi Soobin, who had recently joined their team.

“Just tell me to do anything.”

“...Why don’t you follow me? I’m going to that school to do a preliminary investigation. Was the name Ddeokjil High School?”

Soobin obediently followed the heroine.

“For now, we’ve got the uniforms, so let’s quickly disguise ourselves as students at this school.”

The Ddeokjil High School uniforms suited the two of them well.

Choi Soobin stared blankly at the heroine’s wavy hair.

"What. Why."

“Ah... I just thought you were pretty. You look like a different person from when you had your hair tied up earlier.”

유여주

"...Cough! Hey, let’s hurry and infiltrate. It’s a little hot."

That was the first time in her life she’d ever heard such a compliment about her looks.

The heroine was beautiful enough to be ranked among the top at the Spy Officers’ Academy, but because of her cold appearance and way of speaking, no one besides Yeonjun and Taehyun ever came up to her.

So she didn’t really know how to make friends, or what to do with her time. To Yoo Yeoju, people were simply either enemies or allies.

“For now, let’s split up here. It’ll be faster that way.”

Without looking at Soobin’s face, the heroine spoke quickly, then slipped quietly in through the school’s back entrance.

She tried to act like nothing was wrong, but she could feel heat rising in her face.

유여주

“Seriously, me too—why am I so flustered over hearing that I’m pretty once?”

The heroine moved around here and there, weaving through the students.

Then.

"Thud."

Before the heroine knew it, a male student was blocking her path.

유여주

"?!?"

'How did he hide his presence...?'

???

“To think your skills are only this much—how boring. Right, you elite of the Spy Officers’ Academy, Yoo Yeoju?”
