The sound of the wind, the rustle of grass, and the chirping of insects all came together in a harmonious harmony. It was the sound of nature. Forgetting that he'd locked the door, he followed the fluttering hair and saw a human hand. Yeonjun didn't seem surprised by the sight of the hand. The restaurant, located in a dark alleyway with no trace of human presence, was nothing short of a trash hotspot. It was as if many people were just now throwing away these realistic-looking hand replicas. Yeonjun muttered as he approached, and there he saw a woman lying there, bleeding.
So we met again after 10 years.

Our first, gruesome encounter began with a game of hide-and-seek. Yeonjun, playing hide-and-seek with his friends as usual, was hiding behind a tree, holding his breath. A distant scream piqued Yeonjun's curiosity. Forgetting the game, he rushed over to find a middle-aged man lying bleeding. Around him, five people surrounded him, laughing among themselves, wondering what was so funny. Huh? Despite his young age, Yeonjun held his breath in this obviously dangerous situation. It was the moment he turned around to sneak away.
"Hey, aren't you guys letting your guard down? Why didn't you even notice that there was a brat like this?"
A man, smoking a cigarette, perhaps a friend, grabbed Yeonjun. Yeonjun, caught in his clothes, dangled, gasping for breath. Perhaps it was because his clothes were suffocating him. The man, staring at Yeonjun's face, flushed red as if it were about to burst, approached him.

"Hey, kid, what are you doing? It's really cheeky for a kid to spy on other people."
He grabbed Yeonjun's face and made him look at him, not knowing if he couldn't see Yeonjun's face, which was bright red, or if he wasn't interested.
"Even if you look closely, this is my face. What...isn't it useless to look at it?"
The man's hand, which had been touching the corner of his mouth and smiling, sank downward. Then, he tapped the shoulder of the man who was clutching his clothes.
"Jungkook... Take care of it yourself and come back."
Looking at the man, a man named Jeongguk answered.
"You're going to deal with this brat, right? Kim Taehyung."
At Jeongguk's words, Taehyung's eyebrows furrowed. He felt particles flying at the two's war of nerves. It seemed as if their war of nerves would never end, and Yeonjun gasped for breath, as if reaching his limit. It was proof that the end was near. Four people were watching them from afar, the same men who had been laughing beside the middle-aged man earlier. He grabbed a rock he'd picked up somewhere and slammed it into the head of one of the four men with all his might. He then touched his own head, looking flustered, and turned around nervously. It all happened in the brief moment he'd let his guard down while watching the two.
"What is it? Jimin, why are you letting your guard down?"
Another man snickered at Jimin.
"Kim Seok-jin. I'll deal with this old man first, and then you go."
"If you can, try it somewhere."
Jungkook, who had been watching the other two fight, let go of Yeonjun's clothes, which had been panting so hard he felt like his breath was going to stop. Jungkook clicked his tongue as he looked at Yeonjun's face, now bright red, almost pale.
"Hey Kim Seokjin. Park Jimin, stop it, okay?"
Jungkook, who had been watching the two, approached them. Whether Yeonjun was completely oblivious, had already forgotten, or had decided that running away was out of the question, he let go of the clothes that were choking Yeonjun and approached the two men. Now, no one was there to stop him. Yet, Yeonjun rolled on the ground, unable to escape. Knowing that escape was already out of the question, Yeonjun gasped for air. Even with the release, he was still panting, and with all his strength gone, running was, of course, impossible. Yeonjun clutched at the ground, dragging his legs as he moved forward. Even as he struggled to escape, bleeding and bruised from the ground, a woman stood in his way. Her long, straight hair, perhaps dyed silver, flowed freely, and her odd-eyed eyes were so beautiful that even a child running away would be captivated. Yeonjun would later be able to proudly say that. The six men, who were too busy bickering with each other to notice the woman, didn't see the two people leisurely leaving with Yeonjun in their arms.

Someone grabbed the hand of the woman who was carrying Yeonjun and holding the princess.

"Hey you guys, who is this girl? Do you know her?"
All eyes turned to the man, who raised his eyebrows and spoke, as if he were with those men. Some looked surprised, while others strode forward, brushing back their hair. The woman, responding to the men's reaction, kicked the man, who seemed to be trying to restrain her.
Jimin, a man who had fallen over because he had let his guard down, ran over to him in one step. "Hey Min Yoongi, are you okay?" The woman who had put Yeonjun down and ignored the men said. If you go out of this alley over there and turn the corner, there'll be a police car. You go there and tell them you're lost and ask them to take you home. Got it? Yeonjun looked at the woman who had said all she wanted to say, her eyes crinkling with a smile. The eyes that were looking at Yeonjun suddenly turned fierce and Yeonjun saw the woman striding towards the men. He grabbed his trembling legs and got up and ran as she had told him. Even though they were close by, it took a long time for the police car to come into view. The police officers on patrol came running in surprise at the sight of Yeonjun with blood streaming down his face.
"Over there, over there, my sister is with some guys..."
It was time to quickly grab the child and take him to the hospital. At Yeonjun's sudden request to save the woman, the police officers, who had been glaring at each other, suggested they go to the hospital first. However, seeing Yeonjun break free from their embrace and run on trembling legs, the male officer, who had been staring helplessly at them, nodded and followed Yeonjun to the same spot. In the quiet alleyway, where no one seemed to be present, only the bloodstains that had been absent until then reminded Yeonjun of their presence. But that was all... their presence was nowhere to be found. Yeonjun later responded that it felt like he was possessed by a ghost.

Flash_
A murderous glint flashed in her blue eyes. The room was neatly organized, and a wet towel was even placed on her head, as if she had just been taken care of. The woman clutched her head, feeling dizzy.
Drumroll_
"You're awake? I was worried you wouldn't wake up."
Seeing Yeonjun sitting calmly next to him, he took out a knife from his bosom and held it to Yeonjun's neck.
"Who are you? What are your intentions?"
"Put this knife away, okay? I'm not a bad person. Well, if you think about it, it would be better to have someone who catches people like you."
As the Fed had said, there were numerous awards and trophies in the room. The person holding the awards and the person who initially brandished a knife at him was a police officer.
"Why did you save me?"
"Well, if you take out the lens in your right eye, maybe you can tell me?"
"You're not kidding! Why did you save me?!"
According to Yeonjun's memory, it was definitely him. His silver hair flowed beautifully, as if embroidered, and he exuded that unique aura he'd felt back then. His eyes were a different color than when I'd seen him before, so I'd made a comment. He must really be wearing contact lenses. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been as wary as before.
"What... You're quick-witted, aren't you? I'm a police officer, as you expected. But even if I knew who you were, I wouldn't arrest you. Even if you threatened to kill me... I don't know if you remember, but I'm paying off a debt I owed you in the past, and you just have to accept the debt I'm paying off. How's that? Easy, right?"
Yeonjun chuckled at the woman, who seemed to be confused by his words. She seemed nervous, as if she wasn't even scared, at Yeonjun's smiling face. Yeonjun, with an ambiguous smile, asked.
"Well, if you think about it, I'm B... I thought it would be good to know A's name. What's your name?"
"..."
"Don't worry. If I catch you, I'll kill you. Very obediently."
{5 Additional Explanations in Case You Don't Understand}
1. Even though they had not met for 10 years, Yeonjun recognized the woman at first glance and brought her to his house.
2. At first, it said, 'I'm closing the store,' but the store is run by my parents and Yeonjun took care of the closing for me.
3. Why the title is The Boy Who Cried Wolf: When he was young, Yeonjun received help from a woman, and to repay the help, he turned a blind eye to the woman's murder and theft.
Whatever you do, I mean 'I'll close my eyes or lie' (even if it's the police)
4. The police, who saw Yeonjun walking down an alley where there was no one, decided that he had fallen and hit his head, so they took him home → His friends thought that Yeonjun had gone first and went home on his own...
5. The reason I became a police officer is because I felt that the woman who saved me in such a dangerous situation was cool, and (even if it was just my wild imagination while possessed by a ghost) from that day on, I dreamed of becoming a police officer and became a police officer.
