"It's already night!" said my brother.
"Didn't the airplane just cover the sun so it was nighttime, so it was hard?"
"You're so hot-headed today, sister! Did you fight with your crush again? Your crush won't be able to make up with you?" he teased.
"You're annoying too! If you really have a crush on me, I'll tell you not to talk to me because you're such a jerk, okay?" I pretended to threaten him.
"The leader spoke with a stunned expression!" he said, shaking his head and starting to read his book. I was about to answer him when my cellphone suddenly rang.
— KATHRYN CALLING —
"Hello?" I said.
"Can we talk?" she asked in a low voice.
"Yeah, sure. Where?" I asked and looked at my brother who was looking at me. The question was evident on his face but I just shrugged.
"Outside the gate of your sub division." she answered.
I immediately got dressed and went to the gate of our subdivision.
I saw Kathryn standing in the corner near the grass.
"Kath." i called her.
"Ariela, please give this to Jay because I can't go in." she handed me a box. Maybe watch this. I hope everyone has a crush!
"If you could come in so I could give it to you personally?" I asked.
"That's embarrassing." she laughed modestly. Even Maria Clara was used to laughing.
"Ah, okay, I'll give it to you, it's our turn." I said and waved the box.
I was walking when Kathryn suddenly shouted my name again.
"Ariel." she shouted.
"Hmm?"
"Please help me to win Jay's heart, please Ariela."
