Sorry Not Sorry

Chapter 6 🥀

“Wow, Brother. What's wrong with your handsome face?” Luhan asked mockingly while laughing out loud, followed by the other kids when they saw me coming with a battered face.

I forced Kai to move his legs away and take his seat.“Shut up!”

Shut, shut, shut, shut, shut up,”Luhan mimicked my words, “Did you hear that? Shut up, our angry master seems to have lost a fight and is now sooooo embarrassed—aww!”

I took off Kai's shoe and threw it right at Luhan's face, pretending to be cool. "Shut up, damn it!" I snorted in annoyance. He was looking for trouble again, and I'd make sure his face was completely smashed.

“Ck, too much.”

“Luhan is looking for his angel of death,” Tao replied in response—who was far away from me.

I caught Kai's shoe that Luhan threw back at me which was immediately snatched by the owner of the shoe.

Kai put on his shoes while grumbling, “Leave my Gucci shoes alone.” Then he walked away leaving us with a downcast face.

“Jingin ginggi sipiti GICCI-ki.” I rolled my eyes lazily when Luhan sneered again and imitated someone's way of speaking.

I chose to feel the phone and insert it.earphoneI was wrapping it around my ear—up and down—and turning the volume up when Baekhyun suddenly said, “Clean your wound.” I remained silent, not responding, instead leaning back with my eyes closed in exhaustion. “But if you want an infection, that’s up to you,” he continued.

“Hmmm,” I replied, disinterested, completely disinterested. If I hadn’t remembered they were my friends, I would have used them as punching bags for my defeat a while ago! Oh, damn it! Why am I remembering his stern face again?

“Where are you going, Han?” Lay asked, I could hear his distinctive way of speaking.

"Live to eat. You know what, Lay? Enjoy life while you're still alive before you die and become maggots' food," Luhan replied.

“I’m serious, you jerk!” Lay was angry, he felt like he was being played.

“Ck, you can’t.”

“I’m coming!” Baekhyun exclaimed.

"Come on," Luhan invited.

“Buy mejjajangmyeon, tokkebi hot dog, jjamppong, samgyeopsal—”

“I’m not Suho who can buy a restaurant for you, damn it!”

"Huh, no need to kick my shins like that! Okay, buy metangsuyuk just.”

“I'll make sure you eat gas, Hyun.”

My lips curled into a grin, faintly—among the loud beats of the music that were pounding my eardrums—I could still hear my friends' useless arguments.

“Where’s your bike, Hyun?”

“Hehe, in the workshop.”

I let out a soft sigh, trying to sleep, maybe? My body, especially my face, ached. I should have listened to Baekhyun and cleaned the wound first, but for fuck's sake! That would only make me look pathetic after the defeat I suffered. Even if my face got infected, it was better than looking pathetic!

I felt someone nudge my thigh with their foot.

"If you're like this, you'll just look pathetic," Tao quipped. I remained silent, pretending the kid with the dark circles under his eyes didn't exist.

“Chanyeol, we’re going now.” It was Kris’ voice. “Do you want to leave something?”

Without changing my comfortable position, I just hummed in response, “Hmmm.”

“Aish, this damn thing is really!”

Faintly, I felt their presence fade away before finally disappearing completely. “I’m alone now.”

There's been a lot of things bothering me since Jongdae told me she was pregnant with my child. It feels so foreign, no matter how you look at it, neither of us is ready to be parents. My own life still depends on my parents, and so does Jongdae's. So we're completely unworthy? Why is God so cruel to his people? My choice not to worship him is indeed the best choice.

But the fact remains, that now we are parents-to-be? No matter what, I have to get that thing out of Jongdae's stomach, no matter what Jongdae says, no matter that Sehun will be the one to take the punishment instead of me. I'm not that kind of coward, I will take my own punishment, I don't need anyone else, especially that Oh Sehun!

I stretched out my legs, causing my tall frame to slide down the sofa and my back to arch awkwardly. Jongdae's face was now swirling around in my mind. If I didn't see him in another hour, I might go crazy.

Her face when she smiles widely, her face when she sulks, her face when she's angry, her face when she's scared, and her hot face when she's having sex with me.

“Aish, damn Junior!” I opened my eyes, bent over, and ruffled my hair in annoyance. Thinking about Jongdae had made the long thing between my legs stand up straight.

I checked the time on my phone to distract myself. It was 1:26 a.m. and none of the kids had returned home.basecamp;maybe go home or visit Kyungsoo who is still being treated in the hospital—that is, if visiting hours are still open.

Meanwhile, I remained motionless in my spot, alone. My gaze wandered to every corner where children always filled the place. "Huh, maybe in a few years this place will just be trash, or if I'm lucky, someone else will pick it up." The place had been cleaned up again when the other day, children who came from who knows where, made a mess of it. They were all successfully cleaned up, while we sold their motorbikes and Suho kept the money.

I puffed out my chest to take a deeper breath; my chest had been feeling really tight lately. Was it because I'd been smoking too much tobacco? Did this mean I should quit smoking—let alone quitting, I wasn't even sure I'd be able to reduce the amount of tobacco I smoked each day.

“What’s Jongdae doing?” I won’t be a hypocrite, I miss the shrill voiced figure who stole my soul. Then, the memory suddenly brought me back to Sehun’s declaration that he would marry Jongdae. “Arghh, damn it!”

I ruffled my hair in frustration, trying to think about what steps I should take for Jongdae and the creature in Jongdae's stomach, as well as Sehun who was interfering in my affairs.

At this point, I realized I was a loser. By heaven and earth, I loved Jongdae, but not the creature inside Jongdae's stomach. That creature would only destroy Jongdae and my future. "I'll really teach him a lesson later—"

“Not far from here there is illegal racing.”

I lifted my head when Xiumin's voice suddenly interrupted my frustration. "Who?"

Xiumin shrugged his shoulders indifferently, he took a seat far away from me and lay down with his jacket covering his face.

“I don't know them.”

“Those people from back then?”

He shook his head. "I stopped by and they didn't recognize me at all."

My two feet jumped up, grabbing my jacket and motorbike keys before I finally left Xiumin just like that.

“Yes! Where are you going? I just arrived to accompany you, and you’re just going to leave me alone?”

Refreshingyoung people style!”

🥀🥀

The chill of midnight crept into the morning, piercing my still-sore skin. The night wind seeped in through the gaps in my leather jacket that clung to my body perfectly. My goal now was one: to let out all the emotions I felt.

The roar of motorcycles disturbed my ears as I stopped my vehicle beside the crowd. Not long after, Xiumin's motorcycle also parked beside mine. I took off my helmet, approached the crowd, and joined in.

“I’ve never seen you before?” A woman, dressed in a super sexy black leather outfit, strutted her butt toward me. Meanwhile, another equally sexy woman was trying to seduce Xiumin.

I pulled back the corner of my lips. “What do you think of their game?” I pointed to the bikers far away.

The woman touched my jaw sensually, the sharp scent of her perfume drawing my libido to embrace her slender waist. “Ummm.” She seemed to be thinking, while I stole a kiss on her smooth chest. “Hmmhh, not bad… yan.” I chuckled as the woman moaned so easily. Tsk, what a cheap woman.

After I was satisfied playing with the woman's butt, I asked Xiumin to leave them alone, and approach several men who I guessed were the event owners.

“Guess who's coming to us!”

I quickened my pace confidently when one of them noticed my presence and greeted me, causing some of the previously indifferent people to start paying attention.

“Who?” The others greeted me indifferently.

“Park Chanyeol,” I introduced myself.

“Xiumin Kim,” Xiumin said following me.

So?”

“Come on, Bobby. Don’t be so stiff.”

“You know what's scariest, June? Humans!”

“Tsk, that’s an old joke, you don’t think about being afraid of your own shadow, do you?” Another man with an oval face laughed.

“Shut up Jay, that's not funny.”

“Ahem!” I cleared my throat; feeling completely ignored.

“I’m Hanbin.” My attention shifted to another man who looked like their leader. “Did something bring you here?”

I nodded. “Let’s compete.” Most of them frowned at my answer. “Just for fun and to make friends, I have a gang like you guys,” I said quickly, glancing at Xiumin; I didn’t want them to misunderstand and end up ganging up on me. “You know EXOplanet? That’s my gang.”

Hanbin approached me and extended his hand. “We’re iKon.”

I shook his hand. Not long after Hanbin and I let go, a stern-faced man who had just finished racing stopped a few meters in front of us, took off his helmet, and carried it over to us.

“Donghyuk, we have a new friend to play with!” June exclaimed.

“Not a good idea.” The man called Donghyuk walked over to us with two others. “There’s a puddle of oil up ahead, who knows who it belongs to. Chanwoo almost slipped if Yoonhyung hadn’t been there.”

Hanbin looked at me. “We’re used to this kind of terrain, Chanyeol and Xiumin. What about you two?”

I nodded firmly. “No problem, I’ll still beat you guys.” At this point, my competitive spirit was boiling over.

Then we split up, grabbing our respective bikes before finally arriving at the racing area. Not all of iKon were there, only Jay and June were, and I didn't recognize the other four.

I was on the left side of the road, starting my handsome Ninja 250 motorcycle. My eyes were focused on the road, but the woman who had teased me earlier was now standing in the middle of the road with a black-and-white flag in her right hand and a pistol.startother arrests.

"Three!"

Her skirt was so mini that it almost showed her yellow panties, making my head spin, I felt like pulling the skirt off her butt and squeezing it until it was crushed.

"Two!"

I spat to the side as I felt my manhood harden again. My eyes darted around, people standing along the sidewalk, cheering.

DORRR!

"One!"

The moment the sexy woman, wearing only a thin bra and a super-thin skirt, shot her bullet into the sky. We all immediately stepped on the gas, braving the cold night wind at high speed, as if being chased by a landslide behind us, making us unconcerned about the prospect of our deaths sliding on the asphalt.

I increased the speed of my motorbike, overtaking several motorbikes in front of me, doing zigzag movements to prevent those behind from overtaking my position.

In front of me, there were three people leading the way: June, one person I didn't know, and another who hadn't taken off his helmet since. I swerved around June as we passed a corner, and at the same time, someone behind me did the same.

I slowed down my motorcycle and gave the guy more freedom to take the road in front when he blatantly cheated by approaching me and kicking my motorcycle. When we passed another corner, I overtook the two motorcycles in front of me, at first everything was going according to plan until they both flanked my motorcycle, each of them kicking my motorcycle until it almost made me swerve.

Then, a flash of Donghyuk's words about an oil leak on this road echoed in my mind. A smirk tugged at the corner of my lips. "I'll make sure you guys learn your lesson." I accelerated to the limit, leaving them behind, who were probably starting to overheat.

When I saw the puddle, I picked up my speed a little. The puddle was right in the middle of the paved road, about 20 centimeters long, glinting in the reflection of the moonlight and streetlights.

I glanced in the rearview mirror; there were now four of them, including the Ikon kids. As I was about to pass through the puddle, I swerved my motorcycle and immediately took a safe position to avoid a collision.

My left leg supported the weight of the motorcycle as I turned around at the sound of something falling. A meter away, a person slipped, being dragged half a meter, his body falling not far from his motorcycle. As Jay and June passed me, honking, I immediately slid after them. I couldn't bear to see anyone else win.

I never thought about how I would die, including dying in a fatal accident with my body scattered all over the asphalt and watched by many people.

When I felt the back of my motorcycle being hit at high speed by another out-of-control motorcycle, it felt like I was floating weightlessly even though I knew after this I would probably die. The next second my back felt the hard impact of the sidewalk, my body was thrown again, this time my head hit the sidewalk directly, followed by my motorcycle flying towards me and crushing my legs with all its might.

I took short breaths, I could feel a thick, fishy smelling liquid coming down from my head towards the bridge of my nose.

“Aarrghh!” I growled as the pain slowly began to spread, giving me the terrifying fantasy that I might be disabled after this. Several people got off their motorbikes and ran towards me with panicked faces.

“Call an ambulance!”

June and the others helped me get the bike off my probably crushed legs.

The ambulance arrived shortly after they managed to support me.

“Are you okey?”asked Jay.

I just glanced at him and nodded weakly.“I'm not okay.”

🥀🥀

I didn't fall asleep at all while the doctors and nurses were busy stitching up my leg, even though they'd already given me anesthesia. The only thing keeping me awake at that moment was: what if I was disabled? Although that was actually an exaggeration, as my leg bones were only slightly broken, and the top of my scalp was peeling off.

“We shouldn't have let you race.”

I shook my head, my left leg was currently in a cast and they were lifting it. “Thanks to you guys, I’ve had a new experience,” I joked, “I’ll never forget you guys.”

“It’s a good thing you didn’t die right away,” said Yoonhyung, who was standing at the end of the bed.

"Get some rest and get well soon," said Hanbin, standing beside me, gently patting my shoulder. "It's almost morning, and we should go home."

I nodded. “Thank you for helping me.”

“Don't bother us again next time.”

Sorry,I don't promise.”

The seven of them left me alone in the infirmary one by one. After confirming my injuries weren't too serious, Xiumin also went home immediately, as his little sister urged him to hurry.

Chanwoo, who was in front of the door, waved his hand. “I’m going, Chanyeol.Hyung.”

After that, there was only silence that enveloped me. I glanced at the nightstand where my phone lay, shattered in two. I let out a heavy sigh as I stared at my feet.

The doctor said it would take a few weeks for me to walk normally. Then my gaze shifted to the wheelchair in the corner of the room. It was now 4 a.m., and I struggled to close my eyes and pretend to be asleep until the sound of the door sliding open made my eyes flutter open.
