Episode 5: Do you believe in past lives?

김태형

"It might be rude to ask this on our first meeting, but I feel compelled to do so."

김태형

"Why were you crying when you saw me at the park earlier?"

I shed tears without realizing it, but what should I say in response...?

"That... I don't know. Tears just flowed from my eyes without me knowing."

김태형

I couldn't breathe properly. I guess it was because I was in a hospital with walls all around me.

김태형

"The doctor said that I can go home and be discharged when I wake up."

I walked out of the hospital as quickly as possible before I felt suffocated.

Stepping out of the hospital, I could finally breathe properly. The wind was a bit strong, but I didn't mind it.

한여주

"Haa... I think I'll survive"

김태형

"Are you thinking of going to the hotel now?"

한여주

"I don't like enclosed spaces, so I'll go in after a little more wind."

I don't like places with walls all around me, because I've always been locked in the house, forced to do whatever my father wants. Being in those places makes me unable to breathe properly and makes me feel confused.

김태형

"Then would you like to walk with me?"

한여주

"Well, okay."

I headed back to the park path where I had lost consciousness and collapsed earlier.

Coming back again, I really liked this place. Something familiar and warm permeated my heart.

"Isn't it great here?"

김태형

"This is my first time here, but it feels more familiar and better than where I live now."

Past life... refers to my previous life. Since I don't remember my past life, I don't know if it exists or not.
