Ep. 9 / Short nap

Perhaps he was tired, or perhaps he had cried. His slightly bloodshot eyes were a bit embarrassing, but he swallowed back the words that were about to pass his lips, wanting to be considerate of him, who might be even more flustered.

He shook his head from side to side.

He picked up a bright red rose from a vase with a little water that was beautifully decorated next to him and brought it to me, then put it in my hand and said.

It was a sudden question. I thought you were going tomorrow.
