The Shop That Delivers Dreams
Prologue: Past

Ha, I finally graduated from the orphanage.

Having had to grow up alone without my parents since I was young, I was left in an orphanage and suffered all kinds of abuse and persecution, living a miserable life every day.

But those days are over now. As an adult, I work part-time to make a living.

I liked the idea of making my own decisions and living my life. I shed the past of unconditional obedience and stepped out into society.

As expected, it was incomparable to life in an orphanage. Although I suffered from poverty, the pain was gone.

When I was young, what helped me survive was not the food provided by the orphanage, but a word from a man.

Just one warm word of attention for the first time a little girl ever received.

남자
"Hello? I came to deliver a letter."

The girl said she was really happy with the little attention she received at first, but couldn't show it.

어린 소녀
"Huh...? I don't think this letter is meant for me..."

Then he turned the letter over and showed me the name written kindly on it.

남자
"Galaxy, isn't that your name? It's a pretty name."

"Galaxy." The name written on it proved the letter belonged to the girl. The man smiled, handed the letter over, and turned to leave.

The girl looked at him and saw that he was wearing a suit and dress shoes. He looked like a gentleman from a fairy tale.

The girl, still confused and sad to see him go, asked timidly.

어린 소녀
“Sir, what do you do…?”

When the girl asked, the man stopped and answered kindly.

남자
"I am the one who came to give you a dream."

What is a dream...? When the girl asks briefly, he gently strokes her hair and plays with the letter in his hand.

The girl looked back and forth between the letter in her hand and the man. Then the man crouched down and looked at the girl.

남자
"Let's meet again when we become cool kids."

That was the only ``happiness`` I remember.
