Episode 33. Confusion Again. 01
Byun Baekhyun was sleeping with his signature long eyelashes down. They were lightly drooping, as if protecting his eyes. I watched him like that and laughed.
I mustered up some courage and touched Byun Baekhyun's brown hair. Knowing it was dyed, I assumed it wouldn't be in great condition, but as if to crush my thoughts, Byun Baekhyun's hair was insanely soft.
I slowly ran my fingers down my hair, but no hair blocked my path. The brown hair, divided into three sections to match my fingers, fell slowly and softly.
I looked at the side profile of Byun Baek-hyun, who was sleeping soundly, then turned my gaze forward. All the kids were looking at us. Then, when their eyes met mine, they smiled awkwardly. I smiled awkwardly back at them. Then, one of the kids yelled at me.

“You two look so good together!!”

"uh?"
남자아이
“I’m sorry for bothering you!! And…for…just…looking…by…”
The children's words became increasingly slurred, but I heard them clearly. Their encouraging words made me smile and say, "It's okay." Just then, the back door opened and Jooyeon Ha came in.
Jooyeon's eyes were swollen, as if she'd been crying. I looked at Jooyeon, and she glared at me with those sparkling eyes, still brimming with tears, before returning to her seat.

“Did you cry, Yeonha??”
As Jooyeon-ha was walking to his seat, a girl asked him if he was okay, and he shook his head as if he was fine. At that, the kids all looked away from him. Then they looked at me.
I didn't understand English. The kids who had been watching Jooyeon-ha now turned their backs on her. Jooyeon-ha seemed startled by the sight of them all, and stopped walking to her seat, standing there in a daze. Then, a cute girl approached me.

“Huh?? Huh….”
The cute girl, Kim So-byeol, smiled, her eyes wide. Her warm smile made me smile too. And so, I quickly made friends.
Baekhyun stood up, frowning, perhaps because he was so noisy and chatty with the kids. Surprised by his appearance, I stuttered as I spoke.

“Was that… noisy? I… am sorry…”
Baekhyun Byun smiled faintly at me, who was watching him closely. Still dazed, as if still awake, he leaned his head against my shoulder. Then he hugged me tightly.
The girls screamed at that sight. I tapped Baekhyun's arm, and he grabbed my finger. Then he intertwined his fingers with mine.

“Ugh… My girlfriend… She’s become so popular now… I’m anxious… What if someone steals her…”
The girls let out exclamations at Baekhyun's words, and the boys jokingly said they wouldn't touch anything that belonged to Baekhyun. Jooyeon still stood there, watching us, then, taken aback, he chuckled and left the class.
As soon as Jooyeon Ha left, Chanyeol came in right away. Chanyeol clicked his tongue, perhaps noticing Byun Baekhyun holding me. I turned around at the sound of a familiar voice, and Chanyeol was there, as expected. He came to me holding a Chocoemong. Then he spoke.

“You’ve become so popular… You’re so popular. You’re popular. Hehehehehe.”
Chanyeol laughed with his signature laugh, and Baekhyun, perhaps because his head was pounding from the laughter, covered Chanyeol's mouth. Chanyeol, his mouth still gagged, struggled and swatted Baekhyun's arm away. Baekhyun hugged me tightly and spoke.

It seemed like things were going so peacefully. It was truly peaceful. I made friends, no one bothered me, I was dating Byun Baekhyun… and I was still maintaining a gentle friendship with Chanyeol.
But God wasn't on my side, as a new female student transferred to my school. And then she shouted at Byun Baekhyun.

At that sound, Baekhyun looked at the female student, who was laughing viciously next to the teacher. She was smiling as if she were the winner. She was smiling as if she could win in any game.
