Kim Woon-hak at 11 o'clock at night

The next day, when the rain had subsided, the air on campus was much calmer.
As soon as the lecture ended, I headed to the library. Perhaps because exams were approaching, the library was unusually quiet.
As I was looking for a seat, a familiar voice called me.

김운학
“Sister, there’s a seat here.”
When I raised my head, Kim Un-hak waved his hand and pointed toward the window.
He was smiling, holding a tumbler with a bear sticker on it next to him.

김운학
"My little sister told me not to take it off again this morning. I guess the bear tumbler is my mascot."
I smiled and sat down across from him.
Each of them began to study, but every now and then, when their eyes met, Unhak would hand them a small note.

김운학
What was the answer to this question?

김운학
‘If you’re sleepy, would you like some coffee?’
As we exchanged handwritten notes, the conversation flowed naturally.
During a short break, I was looking at Unhak's notes and was surprised again.
“Wow, your handwriting is really neat.”

김운학
“Is that so?”
Unhak answered with an awkward smile.
"They say handwriting reflects a person's personality. I guess your handwriting is so neat because you're a good person."
At those words, Unhak winked playfully and agreed.

김운학
“Then, I guess your voice is pretty because you have a pretty heart.”
“I’m serious! I think you have so many strengths.”
“When you hear compliments like that, you want to keep leaving notes.”
We became closer through such small notes and laughter.
As I left the library, raindrops began to fall again.
Unhak opened his umbrella and came towards me naturally.

김운학
“Let’s go together. Don’t catch a cold.”
We walked side by side on the narrow street under an umbrella, with the sound of rain.
After a while, Unhak glanced at me and said.

김운학
"You don't just have a great voice, you also make people feel comfortable. I think that's your real strength."
I paused for a moment and smiled in response.
“You really make people feel good when you smile. So smile more.”
At that, he playfully shrugged his shoulders.

김운학
"Then I'll have to keep smiling from now on. I'll save all your compliments."
After returning home, I suddenly felt like turning on the radio.
At exactly 11 o'clock at night, I opened the broadcast and touched the microphone lightly.
"Today, I'm going to talk about a conversation I overheard under an umbrella. The sound of rain makes people a little more honest."
As soon as he finished speaking, a 🧸 emoticon flashed in the comment section.

Today, I would like to hear the sound of rain falling softly on my umbrella.
As I was broadcasting, I remembered Unhak's smiling face in the library and the brief moment we walked together under an umbrella.
