Itjin's Delivery Man
Episode 7. Welcome

진
“Come in, kids. This is where I was talking about.”

나
“Welcome...!”

진
“Boss! It’s been a while. How have you been? Haha, what’s wrong? I called you last night to order delivery, but you didn’t answer. I thought you might be closed, so I was really worried. But who would have thought we’d run into each other this morning? Wow, this is fate. Isn’t it? Haha!”

Although he had announced his arrival that morning, I was surprised when he actually showed up. But the surprise was fleeting. He strode into the store with long, brisk strides, and began speaking in a remarkably friendly tone. I was so flustered that I couldn't say anything.

I should have told him to sit down, but he kept talking. Then, a strand of white hair, hidden behind his broad shoulders, suddenly popped out.

슈가
“Brother, don’t block the entrance and come in. Can’t you see there’s a long line behind you?”

진
“Suga~ Can’t you see that hyung is saying hello right now? And I told you countless times not to interrupt when hyung is talking. Huh?”

슈가
"Okay, okay. Then I'll go in first. Hello. Nice to meet you."

His name is Sugar. It's a name that perfectly suits his small, pale face, like rice cake. Watching him bicker over trivial matters reminds me of real brothers.

나
“Oh, yes. Welcome. It’s almost closing time, so there are no customers. Please take a comfortable seat.”

슈가
"Look at this. This. Oh, Jin hyung. What if you come at the end of the day? So I said, let's make a phone call."

나
"No. I'm grateful that you even come. Since I run this shop alone, my business hours are somewhat irregular... Don't worry about the time and order as you please."

진
"Patience. Why do you always say things to me? Am I late because I wanted to be late? Or is it because Park Jimin came out late?"

정국
“That’s right, hyung. That’s why I told you to come out quickly.”

A young man with a sturdy-looking body, belying his youthful voice, grumbled as he passed the eldest brother and entered. A man with yellow hair followed him.

There were two faces I hadn't seen on my last delivery trip: the eldest and his younger brother, who had changed his style to a wavy blonde. There were four customers in total.

진
“Yeah. Park Jimin. You’re always late.”

지민
"Oh, I get it. I was wrong. So, let's stop rambling and sit down."

Although it was our second meeting, the guests were still boisterous from the moment they arrived. They sat at a long bar adjacent to the open kitchen, leaving a table for four behind, and I handed them menus.

Was handing a menu to a customer really this difficult? The arduous journey ahead before the food was ready seemed imminent. Feeling like I couldn't handle any more customers, I quietly dimmed the sign.
