I thought it would last forever. I planted the seed in the soil for the first time and watered it every day. One day, two days… a week, a month… The sprouts quickly emerged, sprouting upwards with unparalleled strength. Perhaps because I watered them too much, the once-lush branches and leaves gradually withered and began to fall off one by one. Even excessive love was poison to them. I watered you like that throughout all four seasons.

winter

.
On a snowy morning, I turned off the noisy alarm, rubbed my sleepy eyes, and got out of bed. Outside, a road blanketed in white stretched out before me, and people were preparing breakfast, one by one.
Yeoju
“Should I sleep a little more..”
Next to me, Yoongi, still not awake, was sleeping, facing me, breathing lightly. I walked out of bed as quietly as possible and headed to the bathroom.
Suddenly-

"If you're up, wake me up first. Give me a toothbrush too."
The bathroom door opened, and Yoon-gi, just awake, rubbed his eyes and looked at me. His hair was a mess, and he looked puffy from waking up just a little too early, which I found adorable.
Yeoju
“Why are you awake? Didn’t you use your vacation time today?”
shine
"I'm cold and you just left, so I woke up cold."
Yeoju
"How old are you? Isn't it too early to wake up? Go to sleep."
shine
"Let's sleep together some more, I'm cold without you."
Our first winter was marked by a series of unusually cold waves, but our daily lives together were warmer and more affectionate than anyone else's. It was a season of affection disguised as winter.

spring

Countless couples pass by along the Han River. The street trees are now dressed in pink and are plunging into the river. Couples take pictures of each other, couples spread out mats, and people walk their dogs. The whole world loved this season.
shine
“It’s still cold. I’ll tie a scarf for you. Come here.”
His outstretched hand reached out and brushed against the scarf around my neck. The scent of fluttering cherry blossom petals and Yoongi's hand still mingled with the warm, comforting scent of fabric, as if it held affection and warmth. His hand was as warm as a towel just taken out of the dryer.
Yeoju
"Yoongi, I wish you would only be kind to me. Every day, every day.
I wish you'd be so affectionate, I feel like these moments will last forever."

“I will always be kind to you, forever.”
The phrase "I wish time would stop" originated here. The word "eternity" comes from time. My time was luster, and luster was my eternity. And so, it sent me an eternal spring.

summer

.
.
There's a saying, "It was summer..." It's a phrase that buries the summer of longing, like a yearning for youth and love, and leaves it as nothing more than a memory. For me, summer was the longest and laziest season. Even when we were still, we were stuck to the scorching heat, making it even hotter.
Yeoju
"Yoongi, are you going to just stay home today with the air conditioner on full blast?"
shine
"If I can afford the electricity bill"
Yeoju
“…It’s hot, let’s turn on the air conditioner, okay?”
shine
"no"
So, for the first time ever, I caught a summer cold that even dogs can't catch. Yoon-gi blamed me and stayed by my side all night.
Yeoju
“I want to eat ice cream…”
shine
"I'll buy it for you"
Yeoju
“I’m hungry”
shine
“I’ll make it for you”
Yeoju
“I want to just lie here with you all day.”

“I must follow the lazy princess’s words.”
It was the laziest summer ever.

autumn

The season of yellow has arrived. Bungeoppang trucks are slowly appearing, and the streets are filled with a pungent smell. Once I stepped in, the smell persisted for a week, causing me great suffering.
Yeoju
“Ouch-! I stepped on a bank... Ugh... Yoongi, help me..”
shine
"He's an elementary school student, he's still a kid."
Yeoju
"Whew...it smells..."
As I sobbed, Yoongi walked on without looking back. Hiding his inner disappointment, he returned home and took a nap in the dreary sunlight. I still can't forget the pungent smell of fish and the faint scent of soap that permeated the house.
Yeoju
"Yoongi, what are you doing?"

Behind Yoongi, who seemed to be asleep from exhaustion, a pair of dripping white sneakers hung on the clothesline. The scent of soap emanating from Yoongi's embrace made me feel even more sorry.

Blind date guy
“Do you have a favorite season?”
And so the four seasons passed, and his leaves, which I thought would last forever, fell one by one, and eventually, my own time began to flow. Time passed so quickly that I couldn't keep up, and the four seasons with him were buried in my memories.
Yeoju
“I like all four seasons.”
