03. An Uncomfortable Seat and a Strange Man (1)

01. I tried to decline because I didn't want to attend if possible, but when Senior Chaeyoung said she really wanted to meet Miyeon, the three of us awkwardly sat side by side in the restaurant.

"Miyeon, it's been a while. How have you been?"

"Yes. I'm doing well. Did you come all the way from America, senior?"

채영

"No. I just arrived in Korea for vacation."

Chaeyoung, a senior, subtly links arms with Woobin and speaks confidently. Before she went to study abroad in the US two years ago, Chaeyoung seemed to have a somewhat innocent side, but now she seems to have transformed into a more charming and sophisticated person. Her personality remains the same, though.

"Shall we talk later and eat dinner? I'm hungry."

Senior Chaeyoung, who was flipping through the menu, pointed to a specific spot and asked for their opinion. Woobin and Miyeon agreed. While the food was being served, Miyeon said she would go to the bathroom and then stood up.

- Glass shards scattered everywhere with a clang. And a shrill middle-aged woman was screaming, raising her voice.

"You'd rather kill me and Jin. I can never divorce you!! I don't know what you're good at and why that crazy bitch would stick around and leave, but you'd better kill me!"

Jin, who was listening in the room, turned up the volume and slammed both hands down hard while listening to the headphones, turned off the music, opened the door, and came out.

[If there is a God, please kill the man who is not worthy of being called father.] I repeated this to myself as I stood in front of the middle-aged man with a kitchen knife in my hand.

"The house is in good hands! Look at that kid pointing a knife at his father. Aren't you going to put the knife down? Do you think I can't get a divorce just because Jang Shin-young says something like that? Do you think you and your partner don't have a single penny in alimony?"

At those words, Jin lunged at the middle-aged man with his sword, and just before he was about to strike his abdomen, he changed the sword from the front to the back, placed it down in front of the table, opened the front door, and went outside.

Jin stumbled through the bright lights and was about to enter a bathroom in a building when he bumped into someone, but he ignored them and went inside.

"What kind of people are there?"
