Just as Wendy heard from Saeron, Sungjae fulfilled his desire of entering the other world to kill Irene's counterpart.
He went through the portal without thinking about what might happen if he and his counterpart switched places.
His responsibility as a King became least of a priority since he got blinded by his selfish desires.
Becoming superior was more important to him than being respected as an accountable person.
Thus, Irene took advantage of the situation.
She decided to enter the Kingdom of Hora herself and get a grasp of the situation.
Also, to set Joy free. As well as the person who's locked up from saving her counterpart, Ju Hyun, ten years ago.
Irene
Now that the King decided to go to the other world, it's my chance to enter his Kingdom. I need the three of you to come with me.
Wendy
We got your back.
Seulgi
Wouldn't that be dangerous for you?
Irene
Who could possibly harm me? Especially that I have my best weapon handler with me.
Irene gives Yeri a mischievous look, only to be ignored by the little one.
Irene
The King is too dumb to realize that he sent his best weapon handler away, and locked up another person who could best protect him.
Wendy
That means the queen can't be harmed even if every men from the Kingdom of Hora comes at her.
Seulgi
I see. So... they can't attack without an order from the King or their best fighter?
Wendy
That's right! You're much smarter than I expected.
Irene
There IS one problem actually.
Wendy

Irene turns her gaze at Yeri who's been keeping her silence for a long while.
Irene
Saeron... Saeron is the problem. I understand that she might have been appearing as an ally, but I can't just trust that idea.
Irene
I can't help but doubt her.
Yeri
Don't bother. I'll take care of her.

None of the three could answer. They hated the idea as well cause they were empathizing with Seulgi.
After planning something, the four of them headed to the other Kingdom, disguised as the King's visitors.
Since none of the royal guards knew about Irene's actual appearance, nor the King's plans, they entered without any problems.
Yeri who went to Saeron got to keep the latter's attention much easier than expected.
She asked Saeron for a day to catch up with those ten wasted years, Saeron said yes without much thinking.
Irene
I'll take care of Joy.
Seulgi
Then I'll go ahead and look for ... my sister.
Wendy
I'll go with the queen.
Irene

I'll be fine. Just go with Seulgi instead. She might need more help.
Wendy

Everything. I'm in a place I don't know of. Everybody is dressed weirdly. And just the fact that you're standing in front of me...

Only the two of us know what happened that day after all.

She didn't know what to feel.

Joy could have been a fool, but I'll never forgive that man if he tried to harm her.
With Irene, Wendy arrives at a suspicious looking room, where Joy is locked up.
Irene kept her eyes closed and tried to keep her gaze away when she saw Joy's condition.
It was only a matter of time before she could have collapsed inside the room alone.
Wendy
Please don't tell me this is what you betrayed us for.
Joy looked away. She had never felt so embarrassed all her life.
Irene
I'm here to take you back with me.
Joy kept her mouth shut.
She knew what trouble she'd caused. Guilt just kept coming to her before she even knew it.
Wendy
Come on now. Let's get you out of here. You're too hard to look at right now.
Joy
What are you doing here? You know you shouldn't step into this place. It's too dangerous...
Joy directs her words to the queen.
Irene
I already told you. I'm here to take you back with me.
Wendy
Why betray if you'd worry about her like this?
