EP 35. The Students' Mysterious Commotion (1)
It was strange. It couldn't have been more strange. Since giving the necklace to the heroine, Kathartish had been quiet, and the police chief had decided not to take on drug-related cases for the time being, citing the recent overload of drug-related cases handled by the special unit.
The police chief occasionally inspected the special unit, and Yeonjun couldn't be hidden away. Unlike the rest of the team, who were at a loss for how to explain Yeonjun, Yeoju calmly pressed her hand to Yeonjun's neck and forced him to greet her.

"He's a younger colleague who used to work with me. He's done something wrong to me, so he's offered to help me. I don't need a salary; I'll just help him enough to avoid causing any harm to the special unit. Please allow me to do so."
Yoongi frowned at the confident female lead's words, and Namjoon touched his forehead. It was an unexpected remark. Moreover, it wasn't "May I have your permission?" but "Please allow me." It was practically an order.

Thanks to Hoseok's perceptive gesture of laying out a map in front of Jimin, Jimin was able to mark the three locations he'd heard about on the phone without fail. While each of them was preparing to leave, each carrying a walkie-talkie, Namjoon and Seokjin looked back at Yoongi, who was expressing his dislike at a strange point.

In the bustling office, the only quiet people were Yeoju and Jimin. Yeoju shook her head, saying she didn't understand them, and Jimin, with a mysterious smile, handed Yeoju a sandbag.

"It's really out of place to wear a bulletproof vest to the academy your kids go to. It's heavy, but it'll stop knives to some extent. You can carry it on your arms and legs."

Jimin seemed to have answered Yeoju's question, but it was drowned out by Jungkook's voice, unable to contain his anger, as he shouted. Yeoju, feeling numb, gently pressed her hands to her ears and turned her gaze towards them. Jimin, too, looked at Yeoju and then slowly turned his gaze away.
