I made sure Daniel was asleep, snuck out without anyone noticing, and stumbled up to the rooftop.

My eyelids closed briefly and then opened heavily, repeating this process.

I felt dizzy.

I opened the rooftop door with all my might and locked it so no one could get in.

Now I'm alone

How to avoid harming Daniel without being a burden

I hugged the railing without any emotion and looked at the night view of the small human beings in the distance along with the fluttering wind.

It was crowded.

It was gorgeous

The lights from the tall buildings all came together to create a night view so beautiful it was almost tear-jerking.

There was no more regret.

It was heavy, but I opened my mouth for a moment.
